Child De-ath Investigation Launched After Four-Year-Old Found at NSW Home in Disturbing Circumstances

A woman is in custody after the body of a child was discovered at a home on NSW’s Central Coast.

Police said a 32-year-old woman attended Wyong Police Station about 4.40pm on Saturday and officers attempted to speak to her.

When those attempts were unsuccessful, police conducted a welfare check on a nearby home in Wyong.

At the home, officers found the body of a four-year-old boy with significant injuries to his arm.

The child has not yet been formally identified but it’s believed the child and the woman are known to each other.

The woman was arrested at Wyong Police Station.

A crime scene has been established while detectives from Tuggerah Lakes Police District, assisted by the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, investigate the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
