Canton Police Announce First Arrest After 19-Year-Old Jordan Horton Was Fa-tally Sh0t, Second Suspect Still Sought
CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – Canton Police announced on Thursday morning that one of the two suspects in a shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead has been arrested.
Police arrested 25-year-old Jason L. Singletary of Canton for complicity to commit murder, felonious assault and discharge of a firearm on or near a prohibited premises in connection with the shooting death of Jordan A. Horton.
He was booked into the Stark County Jail at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to a release from the Canton Police, at around 7 a.m. on July 14, a 911 call reported a man’s body in a parking lot in the 900 block of Alan Page Dr. SE.
When officers and paramedics responded, they found 19-year-old Horton with a gunshot wound to the lower back.

16-year-old Savheon R. Monroe of Canton, wanted for murder, felonious assault and discharge of a firearm on or near a prohibited premises, is still at large.
