Mike Tindall confirmed he attended the Super Bowl on Sunday night

Mike Tindall and Zara Tindall have been pictured enjoying a social trip to Texas after travelling to the United States for the Super Bowl.

The couple were spotted in Fort Worth, where they joined friends for a night out at Billy Bob’s Texas, a well-known country music venue and steakhouse that regularly hosts live entertainment and bull riding displays.

Images shared on social media showed the pair taking part in the evening’s activities alongside a small group.

Among those present were former England rugby international Lewis Moody and his wife Annie, as well as US country singer John Osborne and his wife, singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas.

One photograph showed Mr Tindall riding a mechanical bull, while another captured Mrs Tindall dressed casually in jeans, a white T-shirt and cowboy boots, completing the look with a black cowboy hat.

Later images shared online suggested the group continued their evening at a private residence, with friends posting relaxed, informal snapshots from the night.

The Texas stop formed part of a wider trip to the US, with Mr Tindall confirming he attended the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

He shared a photograph on his Instagram story from the stands, posing with a friend while wearing novelty American football hats.

The image appeared to show the pair seated among regular spectators, rather than in a private or VIP area.

Mrs Tindall was not visible in the photograph but was understood to be present.

The Super Bowl, held in California, is a major fixture in the US sporting calendar and regularly attracts international celebrities, athletes and public figures.

The visit followed a busy period of overseas travel for the couple.

In January, they travelled to Australia for the Magic Millions festival on the Gold Coast, where Mrs Tindall took part in equestrian events.

The former Olympic silver medallist has long combined her sporting career with international competition and appearances linked to the racing and equestrian world.

Mr Tindall, who retired from professional rugby in 2014, has remained closely involved in sport and media work, including podcasting and broadcast appearances.

The royal couple are known for attending major sporting events both in the UK and abroad.

There has been speculation about whether the pair may have extended their stay elsewhere in California, due to the fact that Mrs Tindall’s first cousin, Prince Harry, lives in Montecito with his wife, Meghan Markle, and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Despite the speculation, no confirmation has been provided, and no additional appearances have been reported.

The trip comes as several senior members of the Royal Family undertake engagements abroad, including Prince William, who is currently in Saudi Arabia on a high-stakes three-day diplomatic mission at the request of the UK Government.
