Back in 2014, BBC viewers saw Harry Clark win The Traitors.
This year, BBC viewers are set to witness The Traitors star Harry Clark in a fresh perspective as he sets out on a mission to meet the Pope in a new documentary.
The 60-minute BBC Two programme, currently titled Harry Clark Goes to Rome, will follow the star on a profoundly personal expedition in a captivating exploration of Faith.
Scheduled to broadcast this Easter, former Traitors champion Harry will travel to the epicentre of the Catholic Church, the Vatican City, seeking answers about belief and identity.
Yet at the heart of the narrative lies Harry’s ambition, to meet one of the most influential figures in the world, the newly appointed Pope Leo XIV.
His endeavours are pursued through a succession of letters, phone calls, social media messages and every imaginable avenue of access as he chases a meeting with the Pope, reports Wales Online.

A synopsis for the series reads: “Living with his close-knit family in the Slough council house where he grew up, Harry’s Faith remains central to his life.
“Yet as the pace of modern living accelerates – pubs, clubs, media events and relationships – that Faith increasingly clashes with the traditions passed down by his mother and grandparents.
“Can belief survive modern life, and what does it really demand? For Harry, there is only one place that might offer answers – the Vatican and the hope of meeting the Pope himself.”
Throughout the programme, audiences will witness Harry conversing with those dearest to him, including his girlfriend Anna, his childhood priest and his mum Georgia, who is undertaking this expedition to Rome alongside him.

The BBC personality will face scrutiny along the route regarding his ‘lapsed’ practices as he participates in traditional Catholic pilgrimage customs.
Discussing the documentary, Harry said: “Faith has shaped who I am from a young age, so being able to travel to Rome with the BBC is something I never imagined possible
“This feels like a once-in-a-lifetime journey, and I’m excited to share this news and every step of my epic adventure. I’m praying that it may even lead to meeting Pope Leo.

BBC audiences will also observe the star visiting some of Rome’s holy locations, including the legendary Mouth of Truth, where he carries out a private confession.
A synopsis added: “As the journey reaches its climax, Harry is granted a meeting with a Cardinal from the Pope’s inner circle and a member of the conclave itself. Could this be his chance? Can Harry defy the odds and achieve what feels like a one-in-a-million moment?”
Harry Clark Goes to Rome will air on the BBC this Easter.
