“Highly Inappropriate” Moments? Farmer Alex Opens Up About Shocking Filming Experience
The physical chemistry or intimacy test has become a staple of reality TV, but Farmer Wants A Wife viewers don’t seem to be on board with it, and, as it turns out, not all the farmers loved it either.
The chemistry test saw each of the farmers blindfolded, and then their remaining ladies got to essentially have their way with them (to an extent, obviously).
Speaking to WHO, Farmer Alex said he’d previously seen similar kinds of situations, admitting, “I was a bit apprehensive about how far they were going to go down that route and how far they pushed the show’s rating.
“That whole thing was wild,” he added. “That was just a weird experience, to be honest.”
He joked that, compared to some of the other farmers, he, Eddy, and Rachel “played the preschool version”, because they were so tame.
“Bloody hell, I think Jason’s girls were really up in his face with it.”

Things get raunchy on Farmer Wants A Wife
Farmer Jason’s girls did, indeed, go for it, with Logan placing his hands on her breasts. Poppy also kept things steamy by taking her bra off and wrapping it around his neck.
“I’m definitely here to compete,” Logan admitted to the camera after the raunchy act.
Things also got spicy over on Farmer Jarrad’s property as Yvonne licked almond butter off his finger.
“Production had asked me to do something different, and the second I saw the almond butter, I just knew,” she told WHO. “It was fun, flirty and felt good to show a side of myself besides the trad wife thing.”
She added, “There’s more to me than cooking and homemaking, apparently including spontaneous finger food!”
Why chemistry tests are ‘perfect for the show’
Despite Alex’s feelings on the challenge, he noted, “Ultimately, they’re creating a show that depends on people being uncomfortable in a lot of ways.
“So, if it’s something like that, it’s probably perfect for the show.”
Awkwardly, Alex chose Rachel as the person he had the best physical chemistry with, because he thought it was Eddy – the person he is clearly smitten with and is believed to have chosen as his winner!

Farmer Wants A Wife fans slam ‘distasteful’ tests
Alex was not alone in his discomfort with the task, with fans making it clear that they felt the test was “gross, inappropriate and embarrassing to watch.”
“Most of them were good, but a few of the girls were highly inappropriate,” one person wrote online.
“Definitely was gross and looked uncomfortable for everyone involved!” another agreed.
Many others described it as “distasteful” and “trashy”, with some saying the production was “stooping to MAFS’ level”.
However, some defended the moment, with one viewer commenting, “All a bit of fun for the show! I’m sure among all of the hugs the girls were persuaded to keep it interesting for the cameras.”
“I thought the boob grab by Logan was funny and made light of an otherwise cringe worthy and humiliating activity,” another quipped.
