Love Island viewers have already identified who they think Angelista should couple up with next following Simba’s shock admission about his connection with Mica. This Thursday’s (18 June) episode saw the Islanders reunited after a dramatic sleepover twist, which sent Simba, Mica, Yasmin and Kavan to a second villa alongside four new Bombshells.

While the new twist was designed to encouraged Islanders to explore fresh connections, Simba and Mica instead used the time away from the main Villa to grow closer to each other. The pair shared several kisses before returning to the Villa together.

Upon their return, Angelista was delighted to see Simba again and wasted no time telling him how much she’d missed him during their night apart. However, viewers were left frustrated after Mica chose not to tell Angelista about what happened during the sleepover while chatting to the girls on the Sundeck.

It was ultimately Simba who decided to come clean to Angelista. Explaining his actions, he said: “I just felt like I owed it to myself to explore that little bit further.” Simba went a step further by admitting that he wanted to share a bed with Mica to give their connection a real chance, suggesting a trip to the Hideaway with her. The admission left Angelista both stunned and upset, and viewers ready to rally behind her.

Over on X, Love Island fans begged her to consider getting to know new bombshell Chidi. “Angelista babe I need you to do a 360 and go for Chidi,” one viewer wrote. Another echoed: “I hope Chidi shows some interest in Angelista,” while a third fan commented: “Chidi and Angelista need to find each other so they can be boring and shy together.”

Later on, Mica and Angelista had the chance to clear things up, but their friendship made Mica think twice about joining Simba in The Hideaway. Overwhelmed, Mica was left in tears by the dilemma but eventually turned Simba’s offer down, leaving him visibly frustrated.

Elsewhere in the episode, Tommy was stunned to discover he already knew Bombshell Tina. The pair revealed they had moved in similar social circles in Newcastle before entering the Love Island Villa, and had even exchanged messages before appearing on the show. But could the connection hint at trouble for his bond with Ellie?

This comes after The Sun revealed why former bombshell George had left the Villa, mere days after his arrival. The semi-professional footballer made an abrupt exit from the show for “private reasons,” before George confirmed he’d had to attend to a family emergency.

However, a recent report alleges that George had received a warning about using “unacceptable language,” before being getting the boot. Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for comment, but these reports still remain unconfirmed.

At the time of George’s exit, an ITV spokesperson said: “For private reasons George has left the Love Island Villa. We have a duty of care towards George so will not be commenting further.”
