Love Island viewers make same demand as four new bombshells prepare to enter the Villa

They’ve asked for a big change.

Love Island viewers issued the same plea following the latest recoupling, with many arguing that the Villa was in desperate need of more male bombshells. They’ll get their wish, as four new islanders will arrive.

Tonight’s instalment of the ITV dating series saw the girls take control as they chose which boy they wanted to couple up with, leading to several shake-ups across the Villa as some got their first choice partners.

The recoupling left Mica paired with Sam, after Samraj and Priya agreed to give their connection another chance. There’s a problem with Mica and Sam partnering up, however, as neither of them are interested in each other in a romantic sense.

The situation prompted a wave of reactions online as some viewers claimed that the current balance of the Villa is leaving some of the girls with limited options, with one fan asking on X: “Can we just bring in some male bombshells because these poor girls?”

Another added: “Send some male bombshells. These girls deserve better,” while a third echoed: “Not a single one of these couples catches my attention. They need more male bombshells who can actually graft.”

Viewers may not have to wait long for their wish to be granted, as it was confirmed that four new bombshells – Chidi, Tina, Halle and Finley – would be introduced to the series during Wednesday’s (17 June) instalment.

Chidi and Finley could be just what viewers have hoped for. A civil engineer, 27-year-old Chidi already has a clear picture of the perfect woman for him, sharing: “Petite, pretty, and someone who takes care of herself.”

“I like a girl who’s a little bit stuck-up and doesn’t just try to please everyone. I like someone who’s a bit boujee but bubbly, kind, confident, and knows what she wants. Most importantly, I like a girl who’s genuinely into me and isn’t afraid to show it.”

Bridgend-native Finley, on the other hand, will be on the lookout for more than just good looks, as he noted: “Personality genuinely means more to me than looks. Looks only get you so far, but a cracking personality can take you to the top.”

Meanwhile, Tina and Halle could shake things up in the villa for the boys. Shot girl Tina, a 25-year-old from Newcastle, said she’ll remain open-minded as there were “a couple” of islanders that she had her “eye on”.

Cheshire dancer Halle, however, has already teased upcoming trouble for Simba and Angelista. The 23-year-old has revealed that the hunk is on her list of potential romantic interests, saying: “Simba, wow, what a man.”

Things have been complicated for Angelista and Simba, to say the least. The latest bombshell found himself caught between Angelista and Mica after deciding to explore a potential connection with the latter on the terrace.

The pair enjoyed a flirtatious chat, exchanged compliments and even held hands as they discussed where things could go between them. Angelista, however, was less impressed when Simba later filled her in.

Her sarcastic response left Simba frustrated, prompting him to seek advice from the boys in the Villa. Simba ultimately decided to have another private conversation with Mica, but she still refused to exchange a kiss with him.

Elsewhere, Yasmin struggled to move past Aidan’s blunder from the previous night. The pair headed to the terrace for a difficult conversation, after Aidan accidentally called Yasmin by Ellie’s name for a second time.

Attempting to explain how she felt, Yasmin admitted that she was starting to view the repeated mistakes as personal digs. Aidan immediately pushed back against the suggestion, insisting that he wasn’t trying to hurt her.

Still, things quickly went from bad to worse when he accidentally made the same mistake once again during the conversation. The latest slip-up left Yasmin stunned, and raised fresh questions about whether Aidan had truly moved on from Ellie.

Love Island airs weeknights from 9pm on ITV2.
