Ex-Duchess Sarah Ferguson has hidden from the public and the cameras as the fallout over her links to Jeffrey Epstein continue.
Fergie and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten Windsor were booted out of their 30-room mansion Royal Lodge, where they lived for two decades, at the start of the year. Andrew was moved to Wood Farm, a secluded five-bed home on the private Sandringham Estate. It is thought however that Fergie was told to sort her own living arrangements after the eviction.
The disgraced ex-Royal was last seen on December 12, at the christening of her youngest granddaughter Athena Mapelli Mozzi at St James’ Palace in London. No pictures of her were shared from this event and she has not been snapped since September 25, 2025 – when she was being driven out of Royal Lodge.

Since then, a few possible sightings have been flagged but the ex-Duchess has dramatically disappeared from public life.
Emails from the Epstein Files showed the ex-Duchess dubbing the paedophile a “supreme friend” despite his sex offence convictions. She also said he was like the “brother [she] always wished for”, in a 2009 email. Being named in the files does not imply any wrongdoing.
Fergie has had her royal titles and privileges stripped and was kicked out of her home but she faced further humiliation this week. She had her “Freedom of the City of York” honour taken away following a unanimous vote, on Thursday. The honorary freedom status was gifted to her in 1987, during a visit, but was stripped due to her links with the convicted paedophile.
Although there have been no official sightings of Sarah Ferguson, her location and where she is staying amid the huge fallout is still on people’s minds.
Europe
At the start of March, it was claimed the ex-Duchess had booked a stay at a £13,000-a-day Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland. A Swiss source told the Daily Mail that Fergie checked in shortly after Christmas and stayed there until the end of January.

The source claimed: “She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she’ll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she’s feeling at her most vulnerable.”
Fergie was reportedly also spotted at Cork Airport, in Ireland, back in February. She was supposedly visiting the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa in Donegal – which she reportedly visited twice in 2024.
Fergie could also potentially be in Spain, at a prestigious private development called Sotogrande, near Marbella. Her close family friend Edwina Heyes owns an estate on the fancy residential plot. The ex-Royal has also previously travelled to the Mayrlife resort on Lake Altaussee, in Austria. She went back in 2024 after she was diagnosed with melanoma – the resort charges up to £6,700 per night for a stay.
The Duchess could also be in Portugal, where he daughter Princess Eugenie spends time with her family, in a £3.6million coastal villa in Melides, south of Lisbon.
United States
Fergie has spent lots of time in the US at the ranches, condos and mansions of her rich pals. Fergie, back in 2018, posted a picture on Instagram thanking Olivier de Givenchy and his wife Zoe for their “kindness”. The Duchess did not confirm whether she had stayed with them but the couple own a $7million mansion in Beverly Hills, California, and a seven-bed ocean-front home in Malibu.
The ex-royal had also spent two weeks at the Montecito home of holistic healer Anamika Neitlich, back in 2010 when she went through a crisis. She has also spent time at US wellness clinics and resorts like the Hall Center in Santa Monica, California.
Fergie also made frequent visits to Palm Beach, Florida, to support the Cancer Alliance and a charity called Hope & Help. Former pal Jeffrey Epstein also had a home there.

One theory around the missing Duchess is that she could be in Los Angeles with Elvis Presley’s widow Priscilla. The disgraced ex-Duchess of York was a close friend of Elvis’ late daughter Lisa Marie and even spoke at her 2023 funeral.
Middle East
It has long been thought Fergie could have flown out the the Gulf, but the recent outbreak of the US/Israeli war with Iran could have changed this.
It has been claimed Andrew and Fergie were handed a mini palace by Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayhan. Royal biographer Andrew Lownie, speaking to the Daily Mail, said: “People in the Middle East simply couldn’t care less what Sarah has done even if she doesn’t have her Duchess of York title any more. She will still be seen as royalty and treated as such.”
United Kingdom
Ferguson’s half-brother Andrew still runs the family farm in Dummer, Hampshire, where the ex-royal is from. She could potentially also be at the Wiltshire property of her ex flame Paddy McNally, aged 88, who she dated for three years before marrying Andrew.

The ex-racing driver and motorsports exec also reportedly has a home in St Tropez and a ski resort in Verbier, Switzerland. Eldest daughter Princess Beatrice lives in a huge £3.5million Cotswolds home with her family.
Australia
Fergie’s older sister Jane lives on the other side of the world in Australia. The PR expert sister, who lives in a posh gated community in New South Wales, flew to the UK last year to support her little sister. Fergie, in her memoir Finding Sarah, described Jane as “one of my staunchest supporters”.

Asia
She has previously flown out of the Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary in Koh Samui, Thailand, back in 2010. She went back a year later in 2011.
Fergie has also checked in at Soukya International Holistic Health Centre in Bangalore, India – which was also visited by Queen Camilla. She also reportedly has close ties and contacts in China.
Canada
Back in 2010, Fergie went on what she described as “adventure as therapy” to Yellowknife – the freezing and remote Canadian city. She was spotted back then at the Javaroma cafe and owner Rami Kassem, 47, speaking to the Daily Mail, said: “Yellowknife would be the perfect place for her to recoup again.”
