MAFS Australia star expecting second child with fiancée a year after tragic miscarriage

A MARRIED At First Sight Australia star has revealed they are expecting a second child with their fiancée.

A year after their tragic miscarriage, Drew Brauer and his wife-to-be Samantha, have revealed the joyous news that they are expecting another baby.

Taking to Instagram this week to share the exciting news, the couple posed with their one-year-old son as they mocked up a movie poster.

In the photo that was part of the mocked up poster, the couple’s son Rex Kelai was seen kissing Sam’s growing baby bump as Drew looked on.

The poster was captioned with the words: “The secret is finally out. Brewing a Brauer 2. Based on a true story. Coming November 2026.”

They also shared a photo of Sam’s ultrasound photo and a video of little Rex cradling his mother’s blossoming bump.

Drew’s fiancée Sam captioned the slew of snaps with the words: ”Yes! I have been getting fatter haha.

“After some of the hardest months of our lives… we finally get to share this beautiful news,” she went on.

Sam then explained how the pregnancy was special and poignant as they had tragically lost another baby when she was three months pregnant.

She penned: “This journey has held so many emotions.

“We experienced the joy of finding out we were expecting last year, followed by the heartbreak and grief of losing our baby three days short of the 12-week mark.

“It’s a pain that changed us forever and one we will carry with us always.

“But through the tears, healing and hope… we have now been blessed with our precious rainbow baby.”

She went on to say: “Life can be so fragile, but also so incredibly beautiful. Feeling beyond blessed for this little miracle.

“My heart is so full and bursting with love knowing Rexy is going to be a big brother and our family becomes four.”

Drew commented on the post writing: “Here we go… AGAIN!”

The expectant parents got engaged in December 2025.

Drew shot to fame on MAFS Australia when he was paired with KC Osborne.

The couple’s bond went from strength to strength on the show, but sadly split up shortly after filming.

Though they chose to stay together at their Final Vows, their lifestyle differences and long-distance constraints caused the relationship to breakdown.
