FINAL TWIST IN MELBOURNE TEEN MUR-DER: THIRD SUSPECT CHARGED AFTER DARWEISH MOHAMED WAS LEFT BLEEDING TO DE-ATH OUTSIDE A MEDICAL CENTRE

A third teenager has been charged with the alleged stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy.

Darweish Mohamed, 15, was found bleeding in the carpark of the medical centre Craigieburn Community Hospital on Lygon Dr in Craigieburn about 7.50pm on Wednesday.

An employee at the hospital performed CPR, but he died at the scene.

A burnt out car was later found by police who believe it is linked to the alleged murder.

A 16-year-old Goulburn Valley boy was arrested on Thursday morning alongside a 20-year-old Beveridge man in Pascoe Vale.

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder. He will face court at a later date, police said on Friday.

The 20-year-old man was charged with criminal damage by fire. He was bailed and will also face Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on December 1.

Police later arrested a 15-year-old from Craigieburn and a 14-year-old from Hume. Both have since been charged with murder and will appear in a children’s court at a later date.

A 15-year-old girl from Fawkner was also arrested and charged with affray and stealing a car. She was granted bail ahead of an appearance at a children’s court.

Investigations into the alleged murder remain ongoing and anyone with information has been urged to come forward.

Heartbroken family and friends

Heartfelt tributes to Darweish have been posted on social media, along with a video montage of Darweish dancing and smiling with friends.

The acronyms “LLD” — which stand for “long live Darweish” — and “E4D” — standing for “everything for Darweish”, flooded comments section.

A fundraiser has been created to help Darweish’s family with funeral costs, and “ease some of the burden on his family”.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Darweish,” said organiser Mohamed Bakhit.

“No family should ever have to go through a loss like this, and our hearts are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
