A desperate search is underway in the harsh South Australian outback for a missing mother of six who vanished without a trace more than a month ago.
Trisha Graf, 41, was last seen in the early hours of Friday, December 12, 2025, driving along Dunstan Drive in Andamooka just before 2am.
Hours earlier, she had been enjoying a night out at the Roxby Downs Hotel, leaving shortly before 12.30am in her white Ford Territory, accompanied by a friend.
On the road back to Andamooka, the car collided with a kangaroo. Despite the damage, police say Ms Graf and her friend made it into town but stopped briefly at a home in Andamooka’s northwest.
From there, Ms Graf set off alone to drive the short distance home, but she never arrived.
By midday, her partner and a friend discovered her car stranded on a dirt mound near Blue Dam, east of Andamooka.

After an extensive initial search around the dam uncovered no sign of Ms Graf, police have returned to the remote opal-mining town on Tuesday to probe new sites.
Detectives and SES crews have scoured several areas east of the town, but so far, no new evidence has emerged.
Police say Ms Graf’s disappearance is suspicious and have declared it a major crime. Further searches and door knocks in the area are planned for Wednesday, January 14, as the investigation intensifies.
“We have established Trisha’s movements’ on the evening and morning she was last seen, but we believe there are people who may have seen her within the town who have not yet contacted police,” Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said on Tuesday.
“We know there were people who were with Trisha at both the Roxby Downs Hotel and who saw her after she returned to Andamooka and we need to speak with them.”
Anyone with information about Ms Graf’s whereabouts or her movements leading up to her disappearance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
