The latest episode of Married At First Sight Australia saw explosive drama at the dinner party

One of the brides on this year’s Married At First Sight Australia has threatened to ‘ruin everything’ for another couple after the latest dinner party spiralled into mayhem.

Viewers have been left captivated by the newest series of the distinctive dating show from Down Under, which has certainly had its share of turbulence. Just this week alone, there have been days of fierce arguments and near-constant disorder as the focus shifts to tension between the couples rather than whether the marriages are actually flourishing.

It all came to a head with Bec and Danny gathering their belongings and storming out of the couples’ retreat in the dead of night. This followed Bec finding herself at the centre of a fierce confrontation with fellow brides.

It all began when she mocked Rachel and Steve’s progress in intimacy with a crude remark, and the fallout has continued to rumble on endlessly.

With the latest dinner party upon them, everyone was left wondering whether Bec and Danny would actually show their faces. Naturally, they eventually did, reports OK!.

Bec held her fire until everyone was seated at the dinner table before airing her grievances in front of the entire group. She ultimately demanded an explanation for Juliette’s vile remarks from the previous episode, during which she was called “the dumbest c*** here!”

In a bid to justify herself, Juliette raises past disputes involving other cast members including Rachel, even repeating the offensive phrase on several occasions. Bec accuses Juliette of being dishonest and is reminded that the truth will surface given that the group are constantly surrounded by cameras.

Following the confrontation, Rachel and Bec appear to quietly seek common ground away from the others, and while Gia stayed tight-lipped throughout the heated exchange at the dinner table, she hints at her next move.

Not for the first time, she threatens that she has messages on her phone that will allegedly expose some uncomfortable truths. She vows: “I could ruin everything for her right now. She should be very worried. Literally everybody here she’s talked about everyone.”

Another cast member confirms she is referring to texts or ‘receipts’ on her phone before Gia added: “If I sent you that (messages) you would shut up. I’ve got screenshots. It was so many things, she said – about Alissa. About David she said -. She’s friends with Stella, she said – .”

At each crucial moment, the programme frustratingly and inexplicably chose to edit out every mention of what Gia claims Bec said to her in those messages.

It didn’t take long for viewers watching at home to make their feelings known about the latest turn of events. One person took to social media to post: “Here we go again with the Gia receipts.” A further viewer posted: “MAFS AU is crumbling next episode. Holy hell.” While a third chimed in: “Bec, you are not innocent in this. Your apologies are insincere and involve blaming your victims. Gia, you have got off with murder so far but yes please. Let’s see the receipts.”
