They Thought They Had Finally Found the Answer After Months of Searching… But Police’s Latest Conclusion About a Discovery Near Where the Mother of Six Vanished Has Made the Case Even More Mysterious
Police say it was not human remains found by a member of the public in a rural mine shaft near where investigators had been searching for missing South Australian mum Trisha Graf.
On Thursday morning, South Australia Police advised suspected human remains had been located in the state’s far north.

SA Police confirmed a short time later in another statement that no human remains had been uncovered.
“Police have examined the area of interest and can confirm there are no human remains,” the statement read.

The area of concern was nearby where police had previously been searching for Ms Graf, a 41-year-old mother of six.
“The investigation into the disappearance and suspected murder of Trisha Graf is a declared major crime,” the latest statement read.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

Ms Graf disappeared after a night out with friends on December 12, 2025.
The mother-of-six left the Roxy Downs hotel about 12.20am in her white 2012 Ford Territory before colliding with a kangaroo a short while late nearby Andamooka Township.
She then met with a friend and was last seen on Dunstan Drive about 2am.
Friends found Ms Graf’s car some 10 hours, perched on a dirt mound close to the nearby Blue Dam, but she was nowhere to be found.
Police previously searched hundreds of mine shafts in east Andamooka but were unable to uncover any conclusive evidence.
