
Two young men have been left with serious injuries after they were stabbed on a Melbourne street in the early hours of Sunday.
The stabbing is believed to have unfolded about 3.15am on Palmer St in Collingwood and the offenders fled in a vehicle.
A 21-year-old and 22-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A large crime scene remained in place later on Sunday morning that backed onto neighbouring streets.
Detectives have been looking at several objects on the street.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
